How to Style Your Kitchen Island Like a Pro (My Go-To “Recipe”)

I have often thought that home decorating and styling is similar to cooking, first you gather the right ingredients, then you put it all together.  This concept can be applied to so many areas of your home! Here is my “recipe” for a beautiful kitchen island centerpiece:

Ingredients:

wood tray or board

vase or pitcher

flowers or stems

large scented candle

seasonal or decorative item

Directions:

1-Set the wood board in convenient spot on your kitchen island

2-Fill your vase or pitcher with fresh flowers or stems (add water if using real) and place it off-center on the back of the board

3-Place your scented candle next to the vase.

4-Set your small seasonal or decorative item in front of the vase and candle.

This recipe is super easy and can be easily modified for any season or occasion-just swap out the stems or flowers and small decor items as you like! Hope this helps and have fun experimenting with different combinations.
