Wine Crate for Fall

Just popping in today to show you how I recently updated my DIY Vintage Wine Crate seasonally for fall.  This summer, it was home to a gorgeous arrangement of white orchids…but I am giving it a "fall" look today!

First, you will need and assortment of items like: fall foilage, flower stems, berries, pumpkins, you get the idea.

I have some pretty rust colored pillows that I was matching, so that drove my color choices.

I even found these pretty BROWN hydrangea stems which I love!

When making any arrangement, I like to start with a base of assorted greenery- it gives my container a fuller look.

Next, I add my larger stems, like these rust colored hydrangeas- I cut them in different heights and postition throughout the container.

Then I added the brown hydrangea stems…

Finally, I add all the little accents like the berries and pumpkins and pods, these items add so much interest to the arrangement!

Here's another look:

Now, I always use my vintage wine crate on my coffee table- I just switch out the contents seasonally so it looks fresh and new every few months!  Can't wait for Christmas!!

Oh, and I can't resisit adding a little starfish to the arrangement too!
