Top Ten Seasonal Pleasures of Fall: Number 8- Fall Foliage/Leaves

source

When you think of fall, you most likely think of that wonderful time of year when the trees are bursting with beautiful colored fall leaves.  There is a crisp in the air and a crunch under your feet when you step on fallen leaves.  You occasionally smell the smell of a fire from someone's fireplace.

I love this time of year.  But unfortunately, I live in Florida.  Which means we get little to no change of color each fall.  Which makes me sad.

So each year, I have to add a little "faux" fall color INSIDE my home since there is none OUTSIDE my home.

I fill a basket with leaves and mini white pumpkins for a festive fall centerpiece in the breakfast room.

I add some fall color to the basket of ivy on my Family Room coffee table…

I always tuck a white starfish in with the leaves to give it a little "coastal" touch!

And a few large fall branches add instant impact to my kitchen island.  This fall, try tucking some fall leaves (real or faux) to a few spots in your home to celebrate the season!
