Blue and White in the Bedroom…

In keeping with my classic blue and white summertime colors, I decided to add some blue and white touches to our Master Bedroom!  

 

Blue and white looks perfect in bedrooms…blues are calming and peaceful and restful and white always looks clean and crisp!

 

Like the rest of our home, I keep our bedroom mostly neutral (the walls are khaki, the bedding is white, etc…)  so I can enjoy changing out the color scheme, accent pillows and accessories with the seasons!

 

As always, I included plenty of “coastal accents” like the blue embroidered coral patterned pillow and the framed seashell artwork over the bed… 

 

I also added touches of my blue and white porcelain collection to the nightstands…

 I love mixing blue and white porcelain with polished silver photo frames.

 BTW- I did “tidy up” the nightstands and bedroom for these photos…they are usually covered with reading materials and cups and mobile phones, ets… 

The night stands look so nice when they are actually cleaned off!!
